The LDR
Suspension founder, Rick Lucas, is a mechanical engineer who grew up in Michigan and began racing motocross in the early 70's. Over the years he has developed, designed and tested endless tooling, robotic systems, and fluid systems. The lessons learned throughout the years developing fluid systems and suspension components and the analysis of fluid dynamics, is where his professional career intersected with his lifelong passion for racing. Now in his 40's, Rick is still very actively racing and part of the motorcycle community. The Lucas family now lives in North Texas just outside The DFW Metroplex, in the small town of Venus. Rick has spent the last few years putting all the pieces together to start LDR Suspension. Now, through LDR, he can help provide top quality suspension for LDR customers through those many years of engineering, racing, design and testing. Whether it's a proven pro, a weekend warrior, or someone who rides back and forth to work, everyone can have the best. He knew that LDR(Lancer Designs Racing) was going to be what could fill that need and we now strive to be just that, The Best For Everyone.
